Things have been super busy in Sheung Wan for the past few weeks. Crazy shipping yarn to new shops, training up new spinners and designing new yarns that will be displayed in the Free People home offices in Philadelphia. So it's been creative but chaotic here. With 9 employees in the office all the time now and more cones of yarn, fiber and supplies arriving everyday, it's getting a bit crowded. The weekends have become the quiet time to for me to think about new ideas and uses for the yarn. I'm working on embroidering one of my old hoodies with the mermaid cafe yarn and will post photos of that soon. I also realized the the yarn makes great jewelry in single row crochet.
The most exciting news is that a week ago we shipped our yarn to the fantastic NYC shop Purl Soho. I'm so excited that New Yorkers can now buy my yarn at a local shop! I used to live on 11st St and remember shopping at this legendary shop frequently. Take a peak at what they've whipped up with it already. The cutest rolled edge little munchkin hat. I can't wait to make one!
